Album Review: Justin Timberlake/Justified

Justin Timberlake/Justified- On the happening of a ceremony that awarded this dreck Timberlake promptly informed the audience that he had grown up on and was a big fan of Johnny Cash.  Unfortunately none of The Man in Black’s influence made it onto this record.  Instead what we get is the Neptunes standard of sega-genisis drenched production value and a young man who mimics music but is altogether limited in this mimicry as his knowledge of music extends no further than Michael Jackson album’s of the early 80’s.  If you know Mr Timberlake -or if you know someone who knows Mr. Timberlake- please see to it that he is slipped a copy of Mothership Earth, Maggot Brain or anything by Sly or Otis.  At lease then we could pretend that his aspirations were admirable.
