Bush Passes Physical

CRAWFORD TEXAS- From his ranch in Crawford Texas former President George U. U. Bush was administered his first physical since leaving the White House last January.  Much to the former Commander in Chief’s relief, and the chagrin of a great many Americans, he was able to pass most of his examinations and overall appeared to be in good health.  Doctors were pleased with the results but obligated to report that Bush will have to start wearing prescription strength reading glasses owing to a condition that most likely developed in his early childhood.  When pressed as to why it took so long to diagnose a condition that has likely existed for the last six decades the doctors reluctantly replied that pinpointing the issue earlier was largely impossible as the man had only recently learned how to read.
